Now for vacations

Well that is a funny subject after a stay in recovery .

To many of us the stay was a vacation in heaven

as we became to know and understand someone

better that has been our deep down friends for years,

and just did not see them as we were to out of it

to recognize them , or even care about them .

That person that I am talking about is

Ourselves !

The first of 2001 I took my two daughters on vacation in Puerto Rico and that is where I fell in love ! I fell in love with the culture and the people that lives there as well as the beautiful country side and Clear and clean beaches. The picture here is of the Condado Beach Where we stayed.

This was a vacation that the three of us will never forget, I am sure. It was Heather, Meghan & Myself. We spent a week there and did our share of the beaches, sight seeing, and rented a bicycle for a day which was a lot of fun.

I may be adding pictures to this page as time goes on or I just may make a page for photo's.

I would like very much to receive pictures from you all to put on here.

Valley Hope Recovery Vacation

Now for vacations that encludes recovery

Well that is a funny subject after a stay in recovery which came after our Puerto Rico trip.

To many of us the stay was a vacation in heaven

as we became to know and understand someone

better that has been our deep down friends for years,

and just did not see them as we were to out of it

to recognize them , or even care about them .

That person that I am talking about is

Ourselves !

My vacation spot was alone with out my family. Does anyone out there recognize it ? This is where my world came back together and it was also with the help of a lot of friends. I love and thank each and everyone of you who has entered into my life this year and I wish you all the very best. I hope to hear from each and everyone of you. And I also hope that we will be able to keep in touch with one another and maybe make some plans to get together before the summer is out.

Well Folks, I have taken one more week of vacation and this time I spent it with my future Bride. I attended some meetings during the day and spent the evening's with Diana. It was one of those laid back plan nothing vacation and just head out and do what ever comes to mind with no schedule to keep.

This should be the end of our vacations for this year and will only leave week end festivities to attend until the snow fly's.

Diana was able to take a few days in Chicago to visit her Nephew which was a very nice time for her.
